TO THE ONE I MISSED THE MOST!

The move is over! I was completely tired yesterday after spending the 1st day in the new office unpacking that after I came back from work, I just want to lie down and do nothing! Obviously I can't so I forced myself to drink a cup of glucose to gain some energy and to make sure I don't missed Desperate Housewives last night.

In the new office, we're all seated in rows of four and I'm seated at the 1st seat of my row. Which means I can't bloghopped that often now and msn too much either. Never know who will just pop behind me and I don't want to be caught lazing around you know!

Less time in msn-ing means less time talking to my most favourite msn partner in crime, Mdm Nurashikin Jasni! And also because of the last week I spent packing in the old office, we didn't speak much! I've missed you babe! Do you miss me too? On a ten dollar note, I bet you do! haha.

So, Mdm Nurashikin Jasni if you're reading, this entry I wrote is especially for you! Ok?

22 APRIL 2005 - GOODBYE TANJONG PAGAR!

We are moving office again! Today is the start of the packing week and everything has to be done by Friday.

From Monday 25 April...it's Ang Mo Kio St 65. New office, new environment and many new people. And things will definitely changed. For the better I hope. Without a doubt, it's nerve wrecking.

FARIHINNNNNNNN!!! PLEASE BEEEEHHHHAAAVVVE!

Farihin hasn't been in his best behaviour in school lately. Just last Friday, his Malay teacher complained to me that his form/english teacher needed to see me personally when I come to pick him up at the end of the school day. I told her I wasn't able to make it in time and told her to get the form teacher to call me instead.

I waited for the call but eventually gave up waiting and I called her instead. I understand that Farihin's been misbehaving in class, disturbing his friends while teacher is teaching, making ehhh-eeeehhh sounds when teacher is scolding his friend, not concentrating in his studies and the list goes on.

Which parent wouldn't be upset when the child kena complain? I told her we'll speak to him and at the same time wonder how do you tell a child to behave in school when you know, it'll just go back to square again. My husband spoke to him nicely and we'll see when will the next complain comes.

I'm fine with teachers telling me how my child behaves (whether good and bad) and I'm ok even if he gets punishment for whatever naughty things he does in school. But it gets to me when everytime you come and pick up your child from the centre, the 1st thing this teacher exclaimed when she sees me...(it seems like a greeting for me ever since he was from Nursery 2 class)"FARIHIN IS SO NAUGHTY!" and this is the same teacher who ever said.."Eh budak ni cekik darah betul!" to one of the children in her class.

And the other thing that I am disturbed about was Farihin was told to go for a haircut over the last weekend but as the husband was working and me and both children had to attend some relatives gathering, he didn't get his haircut. So when he got to school on Monday, his teacher asked him why didn't he told his mother to cut his hair? He said he told me and the teacher didn't believe, she said he bedek!

I don't know how it is going to be when he enters Primary 1. Actually, I still haven't decide which primary school it is for him, it's either in Ang Mo Kio or Sengkang. Gosh, just thinking of it, is giving me a headache....

SUPERMARKET SWEEP

I always love a trip to the supermarket/hypermarket. Be it NTUC, Cold Storage, Sheng Siong, Shop N Save and of course Carrefour and Giant. Sometimes there's no reason to go but if it's there one in front of me, I will pop in and of course end up buying things though there was no intention to when I step my foot in. It's just like going IKEA, you always have to buy something and never go home empty-handed!

And even on holidays, visiting the supermarket at whichever country I am in is a must. You never know what interesting and good things you can find there. The different foodstuffs, chocolates, chewing gums, hair products and many many more.

So, I bought Farah this supermarket trolley at Toys "R" Us last Saturday. I think it's more of something that I like and I want her to play with it. If she's not playing with it anymore, I probably will use it as my washed clothes trolley which Farihin can push from the kitchen to the room.

CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH PLEASE?

The CD has been in the house for a while now so I thought why not put it to good use rather than leave it lying around.

Coincidentally, my husband was on working for the Ms Universe pageant on Saturday, so he brought it along with him and got it signed for me and Farihin :-)
