B IS FOR BLOGGING
When I first started blogging somewhere in April last year, everything was so exciting. Most of my hours at work, I spent reading and tagging the blogs I hopped to. And I do it everyday without fail. But few months down the road I slowed down a bit and there are days that I don't even update my blog anymore. I guess the excitement has died down.
The first good thing that came out from this, I made a lot of new friends of course and along the way found friends that I haven't seen for a long, long time or people that I knew through another friend. Just days ago, my secondary school friend, Lilies, found her way to my blog and now we're in contact again. Isn't that great? And sometimes when I bloghopped, I chanced upon familiar faces that I've probably met or seen them somewhere before or even acquaintances from the past.
The second good thing is getting to know her (i'm talking about you there) and she's one hell of a great babe! MSN-ing with her is always fun and there's bound to be something to talk and laugh about each time.
I'm trying to psycho my friend to start blogging as well and I wonder whether she's started anything. Excuse me while I go check on her progress!!

THE LAST FEW DAYS...
Hello all! I'm back, flu-free...alhamdulillah..
Last week was a blissful week with 2 public holidays and a day's leave on Friday. I was at work on Monday and half-day on Tuesday but since we've got not much to do, we all duduk pat office, goyang kaki je. But we did do a bit of work. If not we eat blind salary tak bagus kan?
I spent the Chinese New Year holiday visiting my inlaws and the next day, my parents, my sister, husband and her kids came over to our house. My mum was wonderful, she brought macaroni soup and nasi briyani for us all.
Saturday, me and kids followed my sister's family to the zoo! Haven't been there a long time and it was Farah's 1st trip. She was of course going oh-oh and her eyes grew bigger each time she sees the animals moving!
Brought Farihin for his haircut at the usual barber at Rivervale Plaza. He's so happy when the abang gellled up his hair after the cut. In the late afternoon, we didn't know where to go so end up taking the NEL down to Kovan station to the Heartland Mall. Nothing exciting though but bought Farah a Barney bookset and Farihin 2 storybooks. Budak-budak, must start reading ok?
This morning, the big news we've been waiting for months finally came! Alhamdulillah again, I got my spot but we must wait till Friday to see the deal they have for us. I hope it will be good one..
Till next time...

HELLO FLU BUG!
The flu bug has nicely landed on me yesterday and now I'm stucked with a blocked nose. How nice! But it came so timely, on the day of my magazine deadline and thank goodness I've just finished one last thing that needed to be done. Which gave me a chance to take a one day break in the form of MC!
Both kids were sick over the weekend. Farihin complained feeling feverish on Thursday night and I thought he was all right on Friday after giving him a dose of dhamol but in the afternoon just as I stepped my foot into Orchard Library, his school called saying his running a temperature and needs to be fetched back asap! Farah was already starting to cough as well, so both were sent to see the doctor on Friday night. Plans made for the weekend were shelved! Sunday came, Farah too came down with fever, so it was hello to sleepless nights......
Farihin got back to school yesterday and Farah has since recovered but now she's stuck with a phelgmy cough that bothers me everytime she cough. Still on medication but if the phelgm is still there in the next few days, I guess she's got to go see the doctor again.
I'm now feeling a little bit groggy after popping the flu tablet. I shall take my leave and come back when I'm feeling much, much better!
