ART ATTACK!!!!!

There was an art session going on at my house on Monday night. The artist, sometimes known as F, was given a piece of art paper and magic pens to create a "masterpiece". While moving her magical pens, she was going, "b,b,b,b,b,.." (i have no idea what is b all about..)

I managed to take some pictures of the magical moment that I'd like to share. Here goes:

WE HEARD SITI NURHALIZA SANG 'LIVE'!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

What a great night it was! We heard her 'live' and witnessed the performance that was staged at Royal Albert Hall in London right here at Singapore Indoor Stadium. Powerful and beautiful voice, good songs and a strong 7,000 audience at Siti Nurhaliza’s Live 2005 concert. Of course, the other thing that mattered was good company for the night!

This was the first and hopefully the last time, we made up our fickle minds to attend a concert just hours before and scrambled to purchase our last minute tickets! And luck was really on our side because we managed to get two tickets going at 1-for-1 price and the seats were also fantastic. We were seated just 19 rows away from the stage! A good bargain I say!

Though not big fans of Siti Nurhaliza, we enjoyed the whole performance and it’s worth our every cent and dollar! Betul tak Nura? Oh, we met Shireen and her gang too!

And what a coincidence, another Siti Nurhaliza related thing came along my way, my friend signed up for a Jusco members’ card and check out the card she chose to have……ada gambar sape tu?

THEN & NOW

When I gave birth to Farihin 6 years ago, a friend of mine from UK gave him this sleepsuit as a present. He wore it for a while and as with all babies/toddlers clothes, the next thing you know they'll outgrow them very quickly. Of course at that time I didn't plan for the second one yet but I kept the sleepsuit anyway thinking who knows if the next one comes along, it will still be wearable. And it's a baby GAP sleepsuit, so must keep.

Can't remember how old is Farihin in this picture

And look, who's wearing the sleepsuit now?

There are a few other of Farihin's clothes that I've tried to pass down to Farah, unfortunately they are boys' clothes so tak very the suitable sangat!

So when Farah dah tak boleh muat lagi all her baju-baju maybe I can pass it down too...

IT'S LUNCHTIME

The last time I came she was only 2 weeks old. She was sleeping so I didn't get a chance to carry her and normally I don't dare handling newborn babies unless it's my own. And so today at lunch time, I decided to go see her again. She was still sleeping but she got up for her milk feed and alas, dapat jugak Aunty Lin carry Nyla!

Her face has definitely changed from the last time I saw her, she's chubbier now, got cheeks meant for cubiting tau! She loves to stretch and sedap dia tidur in her mummy's arms. On the whole, she's one cute baby! Simply irresistable!

Besides Nyla, the highlight of the visit was the lunch prepared by Nura's mum-in-law. Nice of her to do that so it was delicious home-cooked lunch for me today. Best part is the waitress aka Nura asked me to choose either I wanted a fish or chicken menu the day before that so the fish dish was absolutely good and I would have finished the whole fish, really! Terimakasih makcik!

Anyway, it was good to see Nyla again and yes, not forgetting you too Nura! Please cepat-cepat lepas hari so we can meet for dinner again k!

A quick parting shot before I leave:

Bunyi telefon berdering kuat2 pun she can sleep through! Very good!

And Farah's picture is here for no rhyme or reason. I just want to put it up:

HOW AM I NOW?

Thank you Cik Nura, mummy Nyla for the tag! :-P

Yes, I've healed but not fully. There's two little wounds on the groin which I thought look like 2 continents on a world map and I've been changing my own dressing for a week now. I'm due for a visit to the doctor in about 2 weeks time and I'm really hoping it will fully heal and dry up by then so that I don't have to go through the skin grafting process he had suggested if it doesn't heal.

I've been back at work since last Monday and heard some different versions from others of how my accident happened. Because not many people knew about it, some thought I went away on a long leave or a holiday. And those who knew, thought it happened at home, at the pantry, somehow few different versions.

In summary, life is not exactly back to normal yet. I can't wait.
