Happy 2nd Birthday to Farah Adriana....

Life is currently back to normal. Farihin is settling down, adjusting well in his primary school. Pictured here on the 1st day of school...



And come Monday, his teacher has asked the class to bring a Chinese New Year decoration and I thought this was the easiest thing to do. No need to crack my oh-so-not-creative brain too hard, just use the stapler and hongbaos!!



I'm just looking forward to the very long weekend at the end of this month with the CNY public holidays. It's always nice to have 'free' breaks in between work especially when I only have 5 days of leave left to clear by March and it will only be in April when 21 more days are granted for the next financial year.

But first of course, there's the 27 January deadline to meet. Sheesh!

The little girl in the house is turning 2 soon. And the 'terrible twos' traits are already showing!

I'm still awake. I can't sleep.

12 hours from now Farihin will join other 6/7 year-olds, each of them beginning a new journey. Primary School education. I don't know about the other mothers out there but I've been feeling anxious and nervous about his first day in school. His bag is all packed, uniform ironed, even his socks and shoes have been neatly placed near the door.

I know he is excited about going to school, it is just ME being paranoid. I hope everything will turn out fine for him, insyaallah...
